Daily Affirmations

Affirmation - to declare or state positively; assert and maintain to be true.

FACT – An affirmation is simply a spoken or written declaration in the present tense which creates a desired reality. Through consistent written or verbal repetition the affirmation eventually becomes known as auto-suggestion. Auto-suggestion is a thought process that acts by itself. This is how a habit is formed.

“What the successful do is relatively simple. The difference is found in their thoughts, and more important their internal dialogue with themselves.” –Robert Kiyosaki in "Rich Dad, Poor Dad"

How Does and Affirmation Work?

An affirmation begins with a goal. As Steven Covey writes in The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, “Begin with the end in mind.”

For an affirmation to be successful it must be:
* Positive
* Said (or written) with passion and power
* Said in the present moment
* Possible
* Personal
* Written ten times a day for a minimum of 21 days

Benefits
Writing a daily affirmation actively states the change you want to make in your self. If you write your goal with total faith and belief that you are capable of reaching your goal and if you repeat your affirmation over and over to yourself your thinking will become your natural habit. Then you will make the change you desire.
