A Fruitful Habit

Hello CAMP21 friends,

This Wednesday I received an urgent phone call from my wife: PLEASE BRING HOME SOME FRUIT!

You may be asking yourself Why the panic over fruit? Well, in our house, one of our positive habits is eating 3-5 servings of fruit a day. So when we run out of it, it IS a panic. My wife's phone call was her way of being "intentional" about our healthy habits, which is a fancy way of saying we don't like to miss a day.

Forming any positive habit is as simple as being determined to act in a certain way. Studies show that if a behavior is repeated for 21 consecutive days, it becomes a habit.

I challenge you to apply this idea to any new endeavor or habit you wish to incorporate into your life. Be intentional about it, stay with it for at least 21 days and I think you'll be surprised with the results. You may even find yourself making a fruit run to the grocery store.
