Today's To-Do List

"Today's To-Do List... " We all have them. Most of us write them down; some of us keep them in our heads. Whatever the case, we all need them to ensure that we get done what we've planned for a particular day.

May I suggest that when it comes to your checklist that you include an item you might not have considered: Your wellness. We all know how important exercise, diet and the rest are to our wellbeing. We all know, also, how easy it is to skip (or avoid) health and fitness activities, especially when we get busy.

Which is the wrong thing to do, in my opinion... What could be more important than your health? I think you should place it first on your daily To-Do list. In fact, here are the five wellness activities I include on my daily calendar; feel free to borrow them!

1. Affirmation Writing
2. Nutrition (includes 5 servings of fruits and vegetables AND sensible meal portions).
3. Drink 64 oz of water
4. Work in 30 - 45 min. of exercise (all at once, or in parts)
5. Get 7-8 hrs of sleep per night

I guarantee that if you get into the habit of scheduling Health and Fitness into your daily routine, you'll be feeling fitter, and happier, in no time.
