FACT: People who are hard up for sleep are more likely to make risky decisions. Even a two-hour deficit may sap brain power. “Most people deprive themselves of sleep to gain something,” says neuroscience researcher Michael Chee, lead author of a study conducted by Duke University and National University of Singapore. “In the long run, you end up losing.”
